​Loopwheels are designed to help you push over uneven streets, cobbles, grass, rough tracks and gravel paths, with less effort.
The composite springs give you extra power to get up or down kerbs. Loopwheels are more comfortable than standard wheels: they absorb tiring vibration, as well as bumps and shocks. They’re extremely durable. With standard quick release axles and two sizes (24″ and 25″), loopwheels fit most manual wheelchairs.

Loopwheels reduce vibrations by up to 70% compared with metal spoked wheels. Our innovative Loopwheel technology now comes with 12% extra hi tech carbon. This extra carbon creates a slightly stiffer spring. It’s easier to get around and turn at speed, which means a more comfortable and more stable ride, especially if travelling and cornering at speed.

Because of the integral suspension, Loopwheels are more comfortable than standard wheelchair wheels. They absorb tiring vibration, bumps and shocks.
Loopwheels fit most manual wheelchairs using standard quick release axles. Choose between 24″ and 25″ diameter wheels, with or without Schwalbe Marathon Plus pneumatic tyres. These wheels have a standard axle bearing diameter of ½” (12.7mm). If you need a 12mm axle bearing instead of ½” then please contact us.

Loopwheels are optimised for adults. If you weigh less than 50kg, you won’t feel as much benefit from the suspension as someone heavier.
